Two arrested for selling tiger skin in GOA

On Thursday when the Goa government proudly announced that the forest department was effectively clamping down on poaching and had networked all its offices with the latest wireless technology, two men were arrested in Porvorim, around seven km from the capital Panaji, trying to sell an adult tiger`s skin.
The duo, one Goan and the other a native of Sawantwadi in nearby Maharashtra, was aprehended while they were transferring the skin in a car.
